It is boldly seasoned with subtle notes of garlic and pepper and gently smoked over hickorywood.

Solinger Sausage is not cooked, only smoked !

Upon the first bite, the natural casing (hog casing) provides the characteristic "snap" that gives the sausage its name. It is ideal grilled, pan-fried or traditionally heated in a hot water bath. It pairs well with spicy mustard, sauerkraut and a fresh bread roll.
